This past weekend, the Lucem Community Cinema hosted a delightfully fun afternoon screening of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and what a cracking time we had!
Families and film lovers of all ages gathered for this animated classic, filling the cinema with laughter and joy. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with plenty of popcorn and hotdogs to go around—because what’s a movie without proper snacks?
The film, as charming and quirky as ever, had everyone giggling and gasping in all the right places. From Wallace’s cheese-fueled antics to Gromit’s ever-patient expressions, the crowd was fully engaged from start to finish.
It was a fantastic afternoon filled with community spirit, shared laughs, and nostalgic claymation magic. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it so special—we can’t wait to see you at the next screening!
