Our last summer holiday adventure!
A great day at the Fairy Forest event in the Lumb Brook Valley. The children having lots of fun walking through the stream, getting wet and muddy, looking for little stickleback fish and other insects.
When we arrived at the camp base – the children enjoyed pouring water back into the stream by using all kinds of tubes, making mud pies and going for a mud slide!
After lots of fun getting wet and muddy and being very creative, we gathered round the campfire for food. We then had lots more fun toasting marshmallows, and watched and heard the popcorn being cooked over the firepit, popping away before finally popping out the pan and into lots of cups for everyone to enjoy.
