🌿 Our First Visit to The Puddle Project 🌿

Today marked our very first group visit to The Puddle Project β€” and what a fantastic day it was! For those who haven’t been before, it’s an incredibly relaxed and welcoming space where children are free to explore and engage in their own way.

Here’s just some of what we got up to:
πŸ”† Played mini golf
πŸ”† Searched for duck eggs
πŸ”† Explored the sensory garden
πŸ”† Kicked about on the football pitch (with basketballs too!)
πŸ”† Got creative with arts and crafts in the Lilypad
πŸ”† Enjoyed the woodland playground
πŸ”† Walked around the beautiful pond
πŸ”† Met the animals β€” with plenty of cuddles for the guinea pigs
πŸ”† Held some very cool (and very calm!) stick insects

And there was still more we didn’t even get around to β€” a pool/snooker table, darts board, and other fun games were waiting for another visit. It’s the kind of place where every child can find something they love.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves at their own pace β€” some joined in everything, others were happy just relaxing in nature. There was a great mix of calm and activity, and we were well looked after with drinks for all and snacks for the kids.

Whether we go for a themed session next time or keep it a free-flowing day of discovery, we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
