Our group trip to Eureka! in Halifax was a total hit, especially with all the families joining in. From the moment we arrived, the museum buzzed with energy — kids running around, parents laughing, and everyone getting involved in the hands-on fun.
We kicked things off in the “All About Me” gallery, exploring how our bodies work with giant models, interactive games, and experiments. There were plenty of “ooh” and “ahh” moments as the little ones (and some adults too!) discovered all the cool ways our bodies function.
Next up was the mini town, a child-sized world where kids from our group pretended to run shops, visit the bank, and even post letters at the tiny post office. It was hilarious watching the parents get roped into role-playing too!
The outdoor play area gave everyone a chance to stretch their legs and enjoy a snack break, while the café was a hit for those who wanted a proper recharge. Being with a big group of families made the day extra special — there was so much laughter, shared excitement, and even a bit of friendly competition among the kids.
What makes Eureka! stand out is how it blends learning and play seamlessly. By the end of the day, everyone was tired but smiling, and our group left buzzing with stories and ideas to talk about on the journey home.
If you’re in Halifax looking for a day that’s full of creativity, laughter, and shared adventures, Eureka! is the place to go!
