On Monday 24th August, our families enjoyed one last skate at the roller rink before it closed for good.
It was a lovely SEN session, with brighter lights, quieter music, and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone could enjoy the rink in their own way. The rink was fully accessible too, so everyone had the chance to join in and have fun.
There were plenty of laughs, a few wobbles, lots of skating, and lots of happy faces. Whether it was someone’s first time on skates or they were flying around the rink, it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves together.
It was a bittersweet evening knowing it was the last session, but we’re so glad we got to make one more memory there with our families.
