On Tuesday 28 October, our little adventurers had an unforgettable day at Bewilderwood, Cheshire, celebrating the spooky season with their special Halloween event! ππ»
The day kicked off with plenty of fun and laughter as the children enjoyed the park, slides, and zip wire πβ¨. Shouts of βWeeeeeee!β and βAgain, again!β echoed through the trees as everyone embraced the woodland adventures.
Next, it was time for the much-anticipated Twig & Treat trail. Children knocked on doors and met a host of magical characters β Swampy, Mildred, Minty, Snagglefang, Hazel the Good Witch, and Pip-Pip πΏοΈπ§Ήπ¦. There were lots of giggles and squeals as one little adventurer whispered, βI think Snagglefangβs hiding behind that tree!β π
Solving clues and collecting treats was a thrillβ¦ until Snagglefang decided to eat all the sweets! π±π¬ βOh no! Heβs eaten them all!β exclaimed one child, but everyone soon laughed and carried on, determined to finish the trail. At the end, each adventurer proudly claimed their well-earned prize π.
As the sun began to set, the woodland transformed for the Halloween Light Trail πβ¨. Twinkling lights guided the way through the trees, casting eerie shadows π and illuminating glowing pumpkins π and magical displays. Children gasped in delight: βItβs like walking through a fairy-taleβ¦ but spooky!β ππ¦. The trail was a perfect mix of enchantment and Halloween fun, leaving everyone wide-eyed with wonder.
Finally, no trip to Bewilderwood is complete without a visit to the gift shop ποΈ, where little treasures and souvenirs added the finishing touch to a truly magical day. One young visitor proudly said, βIβm taking a bit of Bewilderwood home with me!β π
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a day full of fun, frights, and fantastic memories!
