Tuesday brought us sunshine, adventure, and plenty of woodland fun as we spent the day at BeWILDerwood. With the weather being incredibly hot, it was the perfect excuse to enjoy the outdoors and let the children burn off some energy surrounded by nature.
From the moment we arrived, the excitement started. BeWILDerwood is packed with outdoor adventure play areas, zip lines, climbing structures, and woodland trails that encourage children to explore, imagine, and play freely at their own pace. Unlike many attractions, there are no noisy arcade machines or screens — just fresh air, adventure, and endless opportunities for creative play.
One of the highlights of the day was the den building area. The children loved collecting branches and creating their own little woodland hideaways. It was wonderful seeing them work together, use their imagination, and enjoy simple outdoor play.
The zip lines were another big hit, with lots of laughter and repeated turns throughout the day. There were also storytelling sessions which offered a lovely chance to sit down in the shade for a while and enjoy the magical woodland atmosphere.
Despite the heat, the woodland setting provided plenty of shaded areas to cool down and relax. We made sure to take regular breaks, drink lots of water, and enjoy some quieter moments between adventures.
What we loved most about the day was how relaxed and family-focused everything felt. There was no pressure to rush around — the children could explore freely, discover new play areas, and simply enjoy being outdoors.
Overall, our visit to BeWILDerwood was a fantastic family day out filled with adventure, laughter, and memorable moments.
