On Wednesday, many of our families enjoyed visiting Conwy for a day of adventure, exploration and seaside fun. Each family explored at their own pace and it was lovely to see so many of them meeting up throughout the day, sharing experiences and making memories together.
Conwy Castle is where we began the adventure. Families explored the historic walls and towers, discovered fascinating stories from the past and enjoyed the spectacular views across the town, harbour and coastline. A real highlight for many was having the chance to try archery at the castle, adding an extra element of excitement and allowing everyone to step back in time and experience a taste of medieval life. There was plenty for both children and adults to discover, making it an exciting experience for everyone.
After exploring the castle, families headed to the beach and harbour to enjoy some free time together. Crabbing was a firm favourite, with children eagerly checking their lines and comparing their catches with friends they met along the way. There were lots of smiles and laughter as everyone enjoyed spending time by the water.
No trip to the seaside would be complete without an ice cream, and many families treated themselves while relaxing by the waterfront and taking in the beautiful surroundings.
It was wonderful to see so many families taking part, connecting with one another throughout the day and creating lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our visit to Conwy such a special day.
