On Friday, we welcomed some very special visitors to the Tunza Centre for our Friends Friday – Animals sessions!
The experienced animal handlers brought along a fantastic selection of animals, giving the children the opportunity to get up close, learn more about them and discover some amazing facts. From curious meerkats and cheeky skunks to fascinating lizards and a beautiful owl, there was something to interest everyone.
The children especially loved getting up close to the owl and learning more about this amazing bird. Their excitement and curiosity really brought the session to life!
We hosted two sessions throughout the day, and both were a great success. The children had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, learn about the animals and enjoy some hands-on encounters in a safe and friendly environment.
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm as the children met animals they might not normally have the chance to experience up close.
A huge thank you to our brilliant animal handlers for sharing their knowledge and bringing along such an amazing selection of animals. And, of course, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Friday such a memorable day at the Tunza Centre!
