Some highlights from yesterday’s charity match in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. Competitive fixture but played in the right spirit with no nonsense. Friends United had a quality line up and finished winners despite a spirited fight back by Windle Wanderers in the second half. Everyone had a good run out and both keepers were kept busy. Thank you all that attended and particularly those that were able to stay afterwards and enjoy a beer or two in the sunshine.
