On Tuesday 28 October, our little adventurers had an unforgettable day at Bewilderwood, Cheshire, celebrating the spooky season with their special Halloween event! ๐๐ป
The day kicked off with plenty of fun and laughter as the children enjoyed the park, slides, and zip wire ๐โจ. Shouts of โWeeeeeee!โ and โAgain, again!โ echoed through the trees as everyone embraced the woodland adventures.
Next, it was time for the much-anticipated Twig & Treat trail. Children knocked on doors and met a host of magical characters โ Swampy, Mildred, Minty, Snagglefang, Hazel the Good Witch, and Pip-Pip ๐ฟ๏ธ๐งน๐ฆ. There were lots of giggles and squeals as one little adventurer whispered, โI think Snagglefangโs hiding behind that tree!โ ๐
Solving clues and collecting treats was a thrillโฆ until Snagglefang decided to eat all the sweets! ๐ฑ๐ฌ โOh no! Heโs eaten them all!โ exclaimed one child, but everyone soon laughed and carried on, determined to finish the trail. At the end, each adventurer proudly claimed their well-earned prize ๐.
As the sun began to set, the woodland transformed for the Halloween Light Trail ๐โจ. Twinkling lights guided the way through the trees, casting eerie shadows ๐ and illuminating glowing pumpkins ๐ and magical displays. Children gasped in delight: โItโs like walking through a fairy-taleโฆ but spooky!โ ๐๐ฆ. The trail was a perfect mix of enchantment and Halloween fun, leaving everyone wide-eyed with wonder.
Finally, no trip to Bewilderwood is complete without a visit to the gift shop ๐๏ธ, where little treasures and souvenirs added the finishing touch to a truly magical day. One young visitor proudly said, โIโm taking a bit of Bewilderwood home with me!โ ๐
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a day full of fun, frights, and fantastic memories!
