On Saturday 27th June, some of our Friends families enjoyed a fantastic day out at Gulliver’s World, and what a day it was!
For once, the weather was on our side. Unlike our previous visits, which have always been met with rain, we were treated to glorious sunshine from start to finish. The beautiful weather made the day even more enjoyable as families explored the park, enjoyed the rides, and spent quality time together.
There was something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. From exciting rollercoasters and gentle family rides to adventure playgrounds, the children had endless opportunities to laugh, play and explore. Many families loved watching the entertaining puppet shows, where colourful characters brought smiles and laughter to children and adults alike. Another highlight was visiting the dinosaur area of the park, where children were delighted to meet a small roaming dinosaur, making the experience even more exciting and interactive. It was a lovely surprise that brought plenty of smiles and memorable photo opportunities.
The adventure play areas were also a firm favourite, giving children the freedom to climb, slide, swing and let their imaginations run wild, while parents had the chance to relax, chat and enjoy watching their children have so much fun.
One of the most special parts of the trip was seeing friendships continue to grow. Families had the opportunity to catch up with friends they have made through the group, while also welcoming new families and making new connections. It was heartwarming to see everyone laughing together, supporting one another, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Days like these are about so much more than just a trip out. They provide an opportunity for families to relax, have fun, and feel part of a supportive community where everyone is welcomed, understood and valued. The smiles on everyone’s faces throughout the day were a reminder of just how important these shared experiences are.
