Friends Friday – Carnival Skills Class

Our latest Friends Friday session at The Tunza Centre was filled with colour, excitement, and plenty of laughter as 20 children came along to take part in a carnival skills class. The children had the chance to try their hand at a variety of fun activities designed to give them a taste of life as a circus artist.

Throughout the session, children were introduced to skills such as juggling, stilt walking, ribbon twirling, and spinning plates, with lots more to keep them engaged and entertained. The atmosphere was full of energy as children concentrated on learning new tricks and then celebrated their successes with their friends. The session was rounded off with some lively parachute games, which brought everyone together for a joyful ending.

As always, the event was hosted at The Tunza Centre, where families were able to enjoy a delicious meal after the activities. It was a fantastic opportunity for children to develop new skills, grow in confidence, and most importantly, have fun in a supportive environment.

The carnival skills class was a wonderful addition to our Friends Friday programme, offering something different and creative for children to enjoy. We look forward to more sessions like this in the future!
