We were delighted to host two sessions at the Puddle Project in Burtonwood, with five families attending each. The project provided the perfect outdoor setting for families to enjoy a day filled with fun, discovery, and relaxation. The site offered a wide range of activities to suit every interest. Children loved meeting the animals and spending time outdoors, while others enjoyed having a go at football, fishing, arts and crafts, and even mini golf. For some, the highlight was simply having the space and freedom to explore the beautiful surroundings at their own pace.
A particular highlight of the day was the yummy buffet lunch provided, which gave families the chance to sit down together, share stories about their activities, and recharge before heading out for more adventures. The warm hospitality of the staff made the day extra special. Their attentiveness, patience, and friendly approach ensured that families felt welcomed and supported throughout the sessions.
Both visits to the Puddle Project created a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together in nature, try new experiences, and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It was a truly enriching experience for everyone who attended, and we look forward to returning again in the future.
