What a great day out. We started the day with a little free time to feed the ducks and explore the area before we boarded the Swift Cruise boat and headed out for an hours cruise around Lake Windermere looking out at the beautiful views. Once we returned to land it was off to the World of Beatrix Potter where we watched a beautiful ‘Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit’ show before walking around the exhibit and exploring the history of Beatrix Potter and learning all about the stories of Peter Rabbit and his friends. There was some more free time to explore the area, a lovely little market was on where lots of purchases were made before back onto the coaches for the journey home.
