Today’s adventure was to Greenwood Family Park in the heart of Snowdonia. It’s an award winning family fun adventure park celebrating the beauty of nature. After a rainy start the sun came out & the rest of the day was warm & dry.
We started the day on the Green Dragon roller coaster. Not everyone like it 😂🎢 Moving around the park there is something for everyone from water rides, playgrounds, tree top towers, maze, theatre magic show & even the chance to look out over Snowdon from the view point. Most talked about part – the barefoot trail. Smiley faces to start with but grimaces as we reached the end. Imagine water, heathers, moss, leaves to feel on our feet. 💦🌿 It was nothing like that 😂 Instead it was stones, grit, sharp sand and sharp tree bark.
It should have had the caption ‘love to stand on Lego in the middle of the night? This is the trail for you’ ouch!!
Perfect way to finish the day was with a visit to the craft area & a wooden souvenir to take home a piece of the forest.
