This December, our group had the pleasure of hosting a heartwarming and festive event at the Lucem Community Cinema. We invited families and children from our community to join us for a special Christmas movie showing of the classic holiday favorite, Home Alone.
The afternoon kicked off with the cinema transformed into a cozy winter wonderland, with soft lighting, festive decorations, and the sweet scent of popcorn filling the air. Families settled into comfortable seats, eagerly awaiting the fun to begin. As the lights dimmed and the familiar sounds of Home Alone filled the screen, the audience was transported into the heartwarming, humorous world of Kevin McCallister’s unforgettable Christmas adventure.
After the film, the excitement continued as a very special guest made an appearance. Santa Claus himself arrived at the cinema, greeted by the cheers and smiles of the children. Santa took his time to meet with each child, listen to their Christmas wishes, and hand out gifts that were sure to bring joy and cheer to every little one.
The event was a beautiful reminder of the magic of Christmas and the importance of community. It was a wonderful afternoon of laughter, warmth, and holiday spirit, and we are so grateful to everyone who joined us to make this event a success.
