Fairy Forest – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

Our latest Fairy Forest adventure was a magical day full of woodland wonder as families joined us for “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” at the beautiful St Benedict’s Wood. With the story as our guide, children and adults set off through the trees, searching for signs of a bear and soaking in the natural beauty around them.
The forest was alive with activity — from building cosy dens using branches & leaves, to playing energetic games and tackling Giant Jenga with friends. A firm favourite was the hammocks strung between the trees, offering the perfect spot to relax and sway gently beneath the canopy after all the excitement.
As the fire crackled, the scent of sizzling sausages filled the air. Everyone gathered around to enjoy a hearty woodland lunch, toast marshmallows until gooey and golden, and share freshly popped popcorn straight from the fire.
